You Asked, We Answered
- WHAT IS CBD & WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?
CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of over 100 compounds, known as cannabinoids, found in the cannabis sativa plant, commonly known as marijuana or hemp.
The vast difference between cannabis and hemp is the amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) found in the plant.
THC is the cannabinoid known for creating the intoxicating effect or “high” Cannabis is recognized for containing high levels of THC and lower levels of CBD.
Hemp has high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) and very low levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). In order to be considered hemp, the plant must have less than 0.3% THC.
- WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? FULL SPECTRUM, BROAD SPECTRUM & ISOLATE?
FULL SPECTRUM:Â It is an extract that contains all compounds found naturally occurring in the plant, including terpenes, essential oils, and other cannabinoids including THC at an amount of .3% or less (<.3%).
BROAD SPECTRUM:Â It is a bit of a mix between Full Spectrum CBD and CBD Isolate. Like Full Spectrum CBD, the other compounds found within the plant are preserved in the extract; however, like CBD Isolate, THC is completely removed. This contains ZERO (0%) THC.
CBD ISOLATE:Â It is the purest form of CBD, which is produced by removing all other compounds found in the plant including terpenes, flavonoids, plant parts, and other cannabinoids. This contains ZERO (0) THC.
